What is an eSIM?
An eSIM is a digital/virtual SIM that allows activation of your service using a QR code rather than inserting a physical chip.
Can I use an eSIM and a regular SIM simultaneously on my device?
Yes, you may add an eSIM profile with its own number to a device that has an existing service, number and a physical SIM. This allows you to receive calls and messages for both numbers and select which plan you want to use to call, send text messages, or use data. Please note that if you are currently on a call on one sim, any calls to your other SIM will be directed to voicemail or busy signal.
How can I request for an eSIM?
You have three ways to request an eSIM:
1. You can click on the "Contact us" button on this page to fill out a form requesting the service.
2. You can contact your Sales Associate or Account Manager directly to ask for it.
3. You can visit our Flow Business store during working hours.
How is an eSIM provisioned?
A Flow representative will provision your SIM with the assigned service number and Flow plan just as with a physical SIM.
How will my eSIM be delivered to me?
All eSIMs will be provisioned by a Flow representative and a QR code will be sent to you via an email with simple instructions on how to scan and activate your profile.
Will eSIMs be available to all customers?
Yes, eSIMs will be available to all mobile prepaid or postpaid customers if they have an eSIM-enabled device that does not have a carrier lock from another operator.
Will eSIMs work on any device?
No, not all devices are eSIM enabled. However, Flow is working with manufacturers to ensure the devices that we sell support eSIM.
Can I have multiple eSIM profiles with one service number?
Not currently. Each eSIM will be provisioned with a number.
Can I switch my existing number to an eSIM?
Yes, you can change from a physical SIM to an eSIM with a Flow representative.
