How does it work?
Instructions to activate #DataSnacks
To activate one of the #DataSnacks bundles on your smartphone is easy. Just follow these steps:
- Check your smartphone
To activate one of the #DataSnacks, you must possess an HSPA+ / LTE smartphone device compatible with our network. This means that your device should support 850/2100 MHz, band 3 1800MHz. - Check if your APN is set to PREMIUM on your smartphone.
The APN setting on your smartphone should be set up as follow:- APN NAME = Chippie
- APN = Premium.
To reach your APN settings on your smartphone varies based on the model but can often be found: - Apple IOS: Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Network or Settings > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Options > Mobile Data Network.
- Android: Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Access Point Names.
- Activation through SMS
Choose the bundle you want to activate, check the activation code, and send this in an SMS via 3434: For example, To activate #DataSnack of 3000MB for 30 days, send CHCOM3000 to 3434 and follow the instructions. You will receive a confirmation message when the data plan is activated.
To check your balance through SMS: send CHCO INFO to 3434. - Activation through miUTS
Download the miUTS app, via Play Store (Android) or App Store ( IOS). Once downloaded, you can activate the #DataSnacks through the MIUTS app.
In the miUTS app you will be able also to see the remaining data balance once you activate the #DataSnack.
#DataSnacks Terms & Conditions
The service is applicable for prepaid customers and can only be activated/ deactivated in the homeland.
- #DataSnacks can be consumed in the homeland as well as in Zone DC.
- Data usage will be charged per MB.
- Termination data bundle: #DataSnacks will terminate when the given quota has been used or when the expiry date has been reached. The expiration date is the date until the #DataSnack will be valid with the given amount of quota. If you have not used all your given quota and you have reached your expiry date, the remaining data will be lost. If the given quota is consumed before the expiry date, you can choose to activate another #DataSnack. In the case of a Flow Business Company user with a monthly data bundle, the #DataSnack will terminate when the given quota has been used or when the expiry date has been reached. The data quota of the #DataSnack will be lost with the renewal of the monthly data bundle on the 1st day of the month.
