We recently partnered up with The Pivot Series, a show focused on showcasing the stories of women entrepreneurs from Barbados who have transformed their side hustles into full-time jobs and well-known business owners willing to expand their territories and shoot for the stars.

This time The Pivot Series interviewed Julie Turney, an HR professional and franchise owner of Disrupt HR Caribbean, an information exchange designed to energize, inform, and empower people in the HR field. This disruptive woman is not only a global speaker, but also an HR Coach & Strategist.

During the conversation, Julie tells us how as a former corporate executive she experienced burnout and frustration. Being tired of bureaucracy and the way things were handled in the corporate world, deep in her spirit, she knew she needed a change. She also revealed that although she thought about quitting before, it was the pandemic the final straw that managed to push her out of her comfort zone.
