Outland Hurders Creamery & Farmstead, Jamaica’s first aged artisan cheese company, took home the top prize at the 2021 Flow Business Inknowvation Pitch Challenge, which included free Flow Business broadband Internet for 12 months, free Smart Solutions so they can take
their business online with website building, 24/7 support in setting up business profiles online and solving technical issues, and more.
Founded by Gordon and Kristina Dempster, who came up with the idea while they were still attending college, Outland Hurders offers “intensely Jamaican '' unique artisan products which are currently available in more than 50 retail locations in Jamaica.
From the product names to the ingredients used, their offerings draw heavily on Jamaican culture, echoing the company’s commitment to making a positive impact on the local economy. That dedication dates back to the founding of Outland Hurders in 2018 and it extends into the company’s future.
