What is difference between Voice Mobility and Voice Collaboration?

Voice Mobility provides advanced voice features plus a mobile app that allows you to take calls away from your desk phone, like on your mobile phone or computer.

Voice Collaboration has all the features of Voice Mobility and provides a conference bridge where you can invite callers to join a conference call, with the option to give each of your employees a dedicated conferencing line.

How many Voice lines can I purchase?

You may purchase a maximum of 16 business voice lines with our Voice Mobility or Voice Collaboration products. If you require more than 16 voice lines to meet the needs of your business, one of our sales representatives can work with you to design a solution that works for you.

What call forwarding features are available with my Voice service?
  1. Call Forwarding Unconditional – this allows you to forward all calls to a new number.
  2. Call Forwarding Busy – this allows you to set a rule to forward calls to a new number when you are already on a call.
  3. Call Forwarding No Answer – this allows you to set a rule to forward calls to a new number if you do not answer the call within a pre-set number of rings.
  4. Call Forwarding Selective – this allows you to set a rule to forward calls to a new number depending on the incoming caller ID, so that only specific numbers are forwarded.

How do I set up my mobile app (CWB Communicator)?

What is the CommPortal and how do I use it?

CommPortal is the web portal used to configure the features on your Voice Mobility or Voice Collaboration product – it is like your “mission control” or dashboard for the majority of your phone features. With CommPortal, you can:

  • Listen to voicemail messages
  • Manage your contacts
  • Set-up rules to route your calls
  • And much more.

What is the CWB Communicator?

Yes! You can purchase our broadband service as a standalone product; however, you’ll get more value for money by choosing one of our product packages which include both broadband and voice.

Do I have to pay for my modem upgrade?

Why do I have to upgrade my modem?

Not all customers will have to change their modems. However, in order to experience the full speeds in our new plans, some customers may need an upgraded modem.

How many access points do I need?

Wi-Fi must go wherever you want. The range of your Wi-Fi signal can easily be increased with a network expander such as an access point.

How many access points do you need for an optimal Wi-Fi signal in every corner of your business?

This depends on many factors such as the size of your office, the number of floors, or the location of your modem. Our expert technicians are on hand to determine the WiFi service installation that works for your business.

Can I install Wi-Fi Business myself?

Business WiFi is always installed by one of our experienced technicians. By visiting your premises, they can determine how many WiFi access points your business needs. This means we can make sure your WiFi service runs smoothly.

What are the benefits of taking a Business WiFi service?

It’s a secure way of keeping your business connected.

  • With Business WiFi, you and your employees access a private WiFi network which is protected with a password.
  • Your customers and visitors access the network separately, via a login method of your choice.
  • This way, your data and systems are better protected.

You’re in control over WiFi usage

  • You can monitor the usage of your WiFi network – both by you and your employees, but also by your customers and visitors.

Is there a cost to getting a WiFi extender?

Service

What is a product package?

A product suite is two or more products packaged together.

How do I sign-up for or upgrade my existing C&W Business service to one of the new product packages?

To sign up or upgrade you can call 1-800-744-2994, contact one of our authorized channel partners or complete the online form – found on the website.

What information do I need to provide when setting up a new Flow Business service?

You will need to provide a valid form of ID and business certificate of registration.

What should I do if I have a problem with any of my services?

Our dedicated team of business class support agents are available 24 hours a day to address any issue you may experience with your services. Should you experience any challenges with your service give us a call at 1-800-744-2994 and we will be happy to assist.

Will I be tied into a term contract?

Yes, there will be a two (2) year contract for both the Essential & Advance packages, as well as the products under the customizable options. There is no contract for Business WiFi.

Delivery

How long does it take to have a service installed?

We always aim to install your services on the date we have agreed upon. The delivery time can vary depending on your specific needs, the installation requirements and the services you have chosen.

What happens after I have signed up for a new service?
  • A Service Delivery Coordinator will be assigned to your order and will get in touch with you to introduce themselves to you within 24 hours of your sales conversation. Our Service Delivery Coordinators are responsible for managing your order through the delivery process and will serve as your single point of contact for any questions relating to your services.
  • A site survey will be completed by one of our technicians to determine what we need to do to install your services. This is a crucial step to make sure that the service best meets your needs and is installed successfully.
  • Our Service Delivery Coordinator will work with you to determine a service start date based on your needs and the requirements of the installation.
  • Once the service has been installed, our technical team will conduct a series of tests to make sure that everything is working as expected. You then can test it’s working for you for 24 hours before the official start date of the service.
Do I have to pay for my modem upgrade?

No. A new modem upgrade will be provided free of charge.

Why do I have to upgrade my modem?

Not all customers will have to change their modems. However, in order to experience the full speeds in our new plans, some customers may require an upgraded modem.

Is there a cost to getting a WiFi extender?

You can add a WiFi extender rental to your plan for $45 per month. Please give us a call at 1-800-744-2994 or contact your Sales Representative.

Billing

How long after making a payment will the payment appear on my bill?
You will receive a confirmation email which will show the details of the transaction. The payment will be shown on the monthly bill if it has been received before the bill is shared with you, based on your billing cycle.
How long does it take Flow to receive payment?

The time for your payment to be received by Flow depends on where and how you made the payment. Here are some examples:

  • Surepay: 8 working hours
  • Royal Bank of Canada: 24 to 72 working hours
  • Bank of Nova Scotia: 24 to 72 working hours
  • Post Offices: within 8 working hours
  • Flow stores: within 8 working hours
  • E-account/e-services: within 1 working hour.
Why have I been charged for more than one month's service?

If you have just signed up for a new service, you will have a partial month charge for your services from the date you joined us up to the date of your first bill.

What should I do if I am having problems paying my bill?

Give us a call at 1-800-744-2994 or visit any of convenient retail locations and we'll be happy to assist.

What happens if I make a mistake when paying my bill?

If you make a mistake entering the number and the payment transaction is completed, you should contact Customer Care at 1-800-744-2994, and we will be happy to assist.

What can I do if I made a payment but it’s not appearing on my account?

Give us a call at 1-800-744-2994 and we will be happy to assist.

I don't understand my bill

Understanding your bill shouldn't be complicated. That's why we’ve upgraded your bill format to make it clearer and easier for you to understand.

  • Account and Bill Invoice Number: If paying your bill by post, please include payment slip from the bottom of the bill or write the account/invoice number on the back of the cheque.
  • Bill Date: Your bill will include charges up to and including this date.
  • Primary Phone Number: This is the first number (mobile, fixed line or broadband) listed on the account for which you are being billed.
  • Total Bill: The total amount to be paid for the period including any outstanding payments from previous bills.
  • Usage Charges: If you have a mobile, fixed line, broadband or TV service, they will all be shown here.
  • Account Charges: Details of other charges can be found in the summary of the later pages of your bill (e.g. connection charges, handset charges, late payment fees).
  • Discounts: These are your savings for the month, for example, if you received a promotional offer.
  • Outstanding Charges: If you did not pay your previous bill balance in full, an outstanding balance will be brought forward.
  • Service or Advertising Announcements: This is where we will sometimes share with you service-related announcements or promotional offers.
  • Bill Due Date: This is when your bill needs to be paid. Late payments may result in disconnection.

Roaming

What are the new FLOW Business Roam plans?

In August 2018, Cable & Wireless launched four new 30-day post-paid roaming plans for corporate mobile customers travelling to over 30 destinations. The plans offered in-plan data of up to 2GBs, a 25% discount with a 12-month contract and one easy out-of-plan rate for data, calls and SMS.

What is the duration of the new Roaming plans?
Thirty (30) days either with or without a 12-month contract.
What are the benefits of taking a 12-month contract?

Customers who travel frequently during the year can benefit from a 12-month contract by receiving a 25% discount off the plan charge.

How are the minutes charged?

All minutes will be charged on a per-minute basis.

When should I activate the plan?

The plan should be activated 24 hours before use. The request should be made between the hours of 8am and 4:30pm, Monday to Friday by emailing or calling your Account Manager. You can also call 1-800-744-2994

Do I need a smartphone to use the plan?

No, the plan is available for use on all handsets. Customers wishing to use data will require a data-enabled handset.

Will incoming calls or incoming SMS messages incur a charge?

No. Incoming calls and text messages are FREE.

What happens if I travel without a roaming plan?

Customers will be charged at the standard retail roaming rates. Click here for details

Will these plans roll over?
Unused allowances expire at the end of each billing period or at the end of 30 days for a single-use purchase.
Can I have two plans in the same period?

Customers can change plans during the 30-day period, however, you cannot have the same plan twice within the same 30-day period. Please note the plan charges are for the full 30 days.

Are these plans prorated?

No. Plan benefits will be given in full on the activation date until the next bill cycle.

Can I have a roaming plan with no data and use the flat out-of-plan rate?
No. Out-of-bundle rates are only activated when a Business Roam plan is selected.
What if I’m travelling to another country not covered by this plan?
Customers can activate a global roaming data plan which are available in 25MB, 50MB, 100MB or a combination of all three plans totalling 175MB of data. Please contact your account manager for details and to activate.
What countries are covered under the UK?
UK includes England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Can I activate multiple roaming plans to cover different countries?
No. Only one roaming plan can be activated per number at a time.
What options are available for these roaming plans?

Customers can choose from four 30-day post-paid roaming plans either with or without a contract. See information contained in "Table" below:

2019 Mobile promotion

PROMOTION RULES

  1. The promotion begins on November 25th, 2019 and ends on December 31st 2019. Prize winners will be selected at random and prizes assigned on the following dates:
  2. November 29th, December 6th, 13th, 20th
  3. This promotion is open to new Flow Business mobile customers who are legal residents of Barbados and aged eighteen (18) years or older. By entering this promotion participant warrant and represent that they are legal residents of Barbados aged eighteen (18) or older. In the event that this warranty and representation proves to be false any prize(s) will be forfeited.
  4. The entire promotion will run for five (5) weeks with four (4) prize draws. The following prizes will be on offer each week from November 15th
  5. Assorted C&W promo items (mugs, executive pens, sun shades, water bottles) and a grand prize of six months’ free service on the package purchased for up to two (2) lines.
  6. The prize draws will take place as per the schedule below. Entries received up to the closing dates will be included in the prize draws.

  7. Participants can enter the promotion and the prize draws as follows:
    1. a. Sign up! For any Flow Business Mobile Package. Note that the purchase of any Bolt-ons whether as a standalone or as a part of any bundled product does not qualify for the campaign.
    2. b. The product activated should not have been on the account within the last 6 months.
    3. c. Customers migrating from legacy products, upgrading or downgrading to new products will not qualify.

    Prizes will be drawn on identified dates and all entries from the start of the promotion will be rolled over into subsequent prize draw(s), with a new winner being selected each time.

  8. To be eligible to win, participants’ accounts must be active and in good standing (i.e., no outstanding bills) at the time of the prize draw. In order to claim a prize, the potential winner must also present a valid, legal form of photo identification (e.g. drivers licence, passport, voter’s identification card). Existing customers will also be required to bring a recent phone/service bill (i.e. from within the last 3 months) identifying them as the contracted subscriber, as well as a valid photo identification. If the service is not in the name of the potential winner, that person will be required to bring a signed letter of permission and a copy of valid photo identification from the contracted subscriber. Failure to satisfy any of those requirements will result in any potential prizes being forfeited.
  9. An electronic database will be used to randomly select the potential prize winner(s) from among all eligible entries. Potential winners who are deemed to be eligible as per the other criteria in these promotion rules (e.g. their accounts are in good standing) will be contacted by a FLOW agent.
  10. FLOW standard terms and conditions also apply.
  11. FLOW employees, authorised agents, marketing agencies, contractors, business partners and associates, and their employees, and the employees and agents of sponsors of the promotion; and the immediate families of all such persons or groups are not eligible to participate in this promotion.
  12. By participating in this promotion, the winners agree to allow FLOW to use their name, image, likeness and/or voice in any media whatsoever including press, print, radio and television, for the purpose of advertising, trade or promotion without any further compensation whatsoever being due or payable to such winners by FLOW, its parent company or any of its affiliated companies.
  13. If a potential prize winner cannot be contacted, or if the potential winner does not claim his/her prize, or if he/she is found to be ineligible, or if he/she does not correctly answer the skill-based question, or if he/she cannot or does not comply with these Rules, that potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be selected at FLOW's sole discretion.
  14. Prizes are not transferable and may neither be exchanged nor redeemed for cash.
  15. In order to claim and receive a prize, the potential winner may be required to sign FLOW’s Liability Release. Failure or inability to sign that release will result in the potential winner being disqualified and an alternate winner selected at FLOW’s sole discretion.
  16. FLOW reserves the right to modify, suspend, cancel, or terminate this promotion within its sole discretion and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant in its sole discretion.
  17. FLOW reserves the right to substitute published prizes with any other prize, in the event of stock shortages. A monetary value in lieu of prizes is not allowed.
  18. By entering or participating in this promotion participants agree to be bound by these promotion rules. The decisions of FLOW are final in all matters related to the promotion and no correspondence will be entered into thereon.
  19. A claim to a prize may be forfeited for any of the following reasons:
    1. Where the potential winner is contacted by telephone and the telephone rings without an answer for up to one minute, is busy after five (5) tries or goes directly to voicemail.
    2. The potential winner fails to produce a valid form of identification.
    3. The potential winner is not a legal resident of Barbados and aged eighteen (18) or older.
    4. The potential winner does not agree to participate in FLOW’s advertising and public relations campaign, whether in electronic, print or other media or refuses to sign FLOW’s Liability Release Form.
    5. The potential winner does not claim his prize within seven (7) days of notification by FLOW. Prizes not claimed within this period will be forfeited and may be put into subsequent prize draws.
    6. The potential winner’s FLOW account is not active or in good standing.
    7. The potential winner cannot or does not agree to comply with these rules.
